I'm back!....

I'm free again!... cos.. TURNAROUND 2009 is officially.. OVER!!!

yeayea. today is my rest day.. FINALLY after 11 working days.came back for extra 2 days.. because of start up. It wasnt just tt my sup asked me to go back on my off day. I was a willing party too. Cos I didnt want to miss any part of start up.

this is going to be a super long entry. I wanna blog this down. so that I will remember this whenever i look back at my blog.

Its been a gd 48 days. I would say, I've learnt so much things in this 1 and a half mth. From the very start, connecting lots of hydrocarbon hoses for the cold box solvent wash. Shutting down the plant safely.. Liquid draining.. to hc freeing. Every process is a learning experience. mechanical phrase.. I worked with so many contractors. From gd and reliable ones from PEC.. to super jialat ones from HL and HS. I have some of them to thank.. for guiding me.. cos they are more familiarise with the job than I am. For those who took me for a little kid, they didnt have an easy life with me either.. hahaha..

Getting the equipments back, putting them back to service, working with engineers whom I have nv seen before.. I am glad everyone gave me a chance to learn.. esp for the compressor side. I just do accordingly. sumtimes I dont even noe why i am doing that. but they bother to explain to me.

Combination of team 2 and 3.. different working styles and ppl with diff personalities. So crowded during lunch time..having not enough seats to go about. Although it was quite obvious that the group were segregated at times.. into malay kampong, little India and Chinatown. but it was fun and lively.

whatever it is.. I am going to feel that the shelter is going to be pretty empty for quite some time.

Normally ppl only have one mentor to guide them. I am very blessed. cos I have 2.. Barry and elvie. Especially when elvie went to team 2.. it made me miss him a lot more.
Now that turnard is over, everything's going to be back to normal.. So i only get to see elvie only once a week. one thing for sure.. I believe dis turnard did make our bond stronger. :)

We had a 'celebration' dinner last thurs.. cos product on specs. :) I was caught in the middle if want to follow the crowd( with elvie, winston, siewling) and go for indian food at Anjapa. or to follow the chinese to beer garden ( mengsang, Barry, Jc..etc) ..
In the end, i followed the crowd.. and i was pretty elated to see liuwei and my dear uncle seetoh there. haha.. indian food. all curry and spicy food. I like spicy lar. but I personally think.. Sakuntala is better. at the end of the day, it become .. a twisted story.. that i chose elvie over barry. hahaha..

oh ya! this was the green snake we caught at tankfarm.. A snake in a bottle.
last week, met up with Jac, shiyun, Jess and Ailian for dinner at vivo.. haha.. dinedine at Kim gary. Korean restaurant. food was alright.. had a long and gd chat. Its nice to hear updates from sec sch friends. To think shiyun is getting engaged.. and jess is applying for flat. haha.. i was telling them I will be asking my mum to prepare a big shelf for me..

Ok, went to grandma hse last last week..

My grown up Ah qian..Now he can sing and dance. and my questions in english too.
As bad as ever.

And.. happy Birthday ah ma! haha.. just a simple cake.. with all the grandchildren and children ard.
