Plus plus.. celebration for December Birthday ppl.
Anyway, Work has been gd. I like my job.. i enjoy my learning. However, ever since i started working in shift.. its more den over that.. I have been singing this song..." If I were a Boy..." lolx.. I am living in a man's world.. and I am still adapting to that.
So far. everything is ok. Except for some hiccups last week. Someone made mi feel so betrayed.. and yar.. In a way, it made me realized that adult life is not that simple. In school, perhaps ppl do say .. in JC or uni.. the competition level is high. ppl backstab and stuff. I would say.. I am very pampered in a very friendly and warmth environment.. where we slack together and study together. And right now.. its time to kiss gdbye to that. cos.. someone has proven to me that.. individual progression is what should be most impt to one. :) no bad feelings, just some.. 'enlightenment'.
Despite all the FUN times..My mentor might be gg to be transferred to another team. And this has been making me pretty depressed for days.. I sound like i am exaggerating, but i am not ok. In a way, mentoring me can be tiring I guess. being a new tech who doesnt know a thing, not strong in fundamentals and clumsy at hands on. I was sad when i was posted to team 3 cos i have diff rest days as the rest. What made my working life seem better was that my team members have been nice and to add on, I have 2 ppl who are constantly teaching me things patiently, in a way, more concerned abt my learning. barry and elvie. Now that elvie might be transferred to team 2. Well, I kept assuring him that.. I will learn to be independent. cos one of these days, I will have to be alone.. once i am qualified. If anyone can understand, I felt the same way when I was YOUNG and sir patrick was transferred to Thomson.
I want to lock him up with a ellis lock( some locking device) and throw the key into the furnace. lol.
Yesterday work day shift. I went to climb the highest tower in the whole exxonmobil chemicals! a very tall distillation tower with abt.. 158 trays. I could see the whole jurong island. So pretty. haha.. And i tried to look for the small tower at CPTC. and I would say. it was really SO SO SO SO SO smalll~.. lolx. Went to climb it becos the contractor had to change the wind sock at the top. So I got Shahul to climb up with me and the contractors. It wasn't a requirement to go up, I was just.. 'challenging' myself. haha.. from what see, abt 20 monkey ladders or so.. and today, my arms are aching like crazy. Anyways, It was so fun! haha..
Being the only girl in the team definitely gets more attention. My team members were so eager to help me find a boyfriend. Even asking the contractors how old are they and stuff. And.. constantly promoting my team one and only eligble bachelor.
And Elvie was SOOO nice ysd. brought me ard my unit. Asking me qns.. and.. the usual practice was for me to find the ans myself. But well, he gave me all the ans ysd. cause he said, next time mayb no chance alr. argh!

This is the man.. who could ans my qns at 4 plus in the morning, and tolerating all my nonsensical answers to his questions. he is the one who teach me how to protect myself when doing my job.
Well, I alr noe who will be taking me when he is gone. And.. I would sae.. I definitely have to be more serious alr.
