blogging seems to be a weekly thing nowdays. cos i am so drained out after a day at work. haha.. ok, i am exaggerating. erm.. so far, we have not started any work. it has all been lectures and orientation stuff. It not very physically tiring, but just mentally.. cos it takes quite a lot of effort and energy to stay awake in classes. lolx. its like back to the CPTC life, where I wake up early to go thru the jurong island checkpt. and now its part and parcel of my everydae life. i am not complaining here. just need a little more time to get used to it and settle down.:)

The company decided to give us a 'treat'. haha.. so we had our 3 days course at Hilton Hotel about indivual effectiveness and cultural appreciation. true enough, its pretty effective, we get to noe the rest of the ppl better.. and realli to appreciate the ACCENT and differences of the nationalities and races. just some serious bonding. lolx.. for the past 3 days, we had fun... and were seriously well fed. haha.. On thursday, there was a department dinner at hardrock cafe. haha.. lotsa managers and high authority ppl. we were just like some small fry sitting around. The dinner was not bad, i ordered bbq chicken. the portion was so big, just by looking at it, u will feel full!

There was a call up for birthday ppl. haha.. there were 3 indians from our company celebrating birthday in the next few days. the hard rock cafe ppl were pretty spontaneous, they actually played Bangla songs for them. we have to admit, Indians are really gd dancers! haha.. the way they really let down and dance. haha.. they are very serious when u talk abt work.. but i saw the fun side of them too. haha..

last sunday was mother's day. went shopping with ah ma and mummy. haha.. i cant find a suitable present. so.. i still owe her one present. lolx.

its pretty scary when u on the tv news nowdays. or even just flipping the newspaper. its like its mostly pictures of the victims of the catastrophic earthquake or cyclone . its like the world population is a sudden X- 50000 kind of thing. as I safely sit in front of the com and post this entry, how many more bodies were found. Thank god we live in singapore. cant imagine if this happen here. its like.. it could have destroyed the whole country just like the snap of a finger. i find these natural diaster a lot more scary den terrorist of any kind. its unavoidable and it just hit the countries hardly, like s smack of the face. i wonder how long will ppl take to recover from this calamity. it gives us all a awakening call that we should noe how lucky we all are.
